The Andrew Yule Group, a thousand Crore conglomerate has been serving the nation since 1863. The Group is conscious of its social responsibilities and has been making a continuous endeavour to create awareness among the present and future generations.

As in the past, the Andrew Yule Group will be organizing the Yule Elocution Contest based on the theme: “VISION – INDIA TOMORROW”. Applications are invited from students (Class VI to IX) to take part in the said contest. Each School can enter one participant in each of the three languages – Bengali, English and Hindi.

Preliminaries will be held in Bengali, English and Hindi on 10, 11 & 12 March, 2010 respectively at ‘Rotary Sadan’, 94/2, Jawaharlal Nehru Road, Kolkata – 700 020, from 9-00 a.m. onwards. The finals will be held on 25th March, 2010 at G D Birla Sabhaghar, 29, Ashutosh Chowdhury Avenue, Kolkata – 700 019, from 6-00 p.m. onwards. Eighteen finalists from the preliminary rounds, i.e. six in each language would compete for the first two positions in each category.

The event will be judged by a group of eminent dignitaries and celebrities from different walks of life. Prizes include Trophies, Certificates etc.
