We invite competitive quotations from the Tea Board Registered License holders for sale of an estimated quantity of 83 ,300 Kgs. (approx) of Undenatured Tea Waste to be accrued during the season 2008 at 11 of our Tea Estates in Dooars and Assam subject to the following terms and conditions.

1.	Rate quoted should be on per kg. Basis and must include cost of second hand Gunny Bags to be supplied by individual estate. Freight from the estate upto the destination will be on Buyer’s A/c.
2.	Payment should be made in advance against Pro-forma Invoice (to be raised on the quantity available as indicated by the Estate) by A/c. Payee Demand Draft or local A/c. Payee Cheque and only on realisation of the same, Delivery Orders will be issued.
3.	Buyers, of denatured Tea Waste have to pay extra, over and above the rate quoted, towards cost of Lime and Labour for mixing, before denaturing at the individual estate.
4.	WBST/CST will be charged extra, over and above the rate quoted. In case the intending tenderer wishes to submit Sales Tax Declaration Form against purchase of Tea Waste, the same must be indicated in the quotation
5.	Despatch documents will be submitted to the Buyer once we receive these from the estate.
6.	Final Bill will be raised once all the despatches are complete; (Buyer wishing to avail concessional Sales Tax will be required to submit the Sales Tax Declaration Form on the basis of final Bills only).
7.	Intending Tenderers, buying Tea Waste for their 100% EOU to manufacture Instant Tea must also submit a declaration confirming that AR-3A Forms duly endorsed by the local Central Excise Authorities of the factory will be submitted/sent to our office within 30 days from the date of despatch of the materials

In Tide Water Oil Company (India) Ltd (TWOL)

Under restructuring proposal as approved by Government of India, Andrew Yule & Co., Ltd. (AYCL) and the Financial Institutions intend to disinvest its shareholding in Tide Water Oil Company (India) Ltd (TWOL) to a strategic buyer and plans to engage the services of Consultant to advise and manage the disinvestments process successfully.

TWOL was incorporated in 1928 and engaged in the business of “Veedol” Brand of Automotive & Industrial Lubricating Oils & Grease and Mitshubishi range of Engine Oils having Regional Offices at Kolkata, Chennai, Delhi & Mumbai and Registered Office at 8, Dr. Rajendra Prasad Sarani, Calcutta – 700 001. The paid-up share capital of TWOL is Rs.87.12 Lacs. The turnover of the Company for the year 2007-08 was Rs.504.83 Crores.

The responsibilities of the Consultant would involve advising and assisting AYCL & FIs, in the disinvestment of TWOL and would, inter alia, cover assessment and valuation of TWOL, suggesting measures to enhance the Sale Value, preparing a detailed information memorandum, marketing of the offer, inviting and evaluating the bids, assisting during the negotiations with prospective buyer, drawing up the sale/other agreements and advising on post sale matters.

We invite competitive quotations from the Tea Board Registered License holders for sale of an estimated quantity of 58,000 Kgs. (approx) of Undenatured Tea Waste to be accrued during the season 2008 at 11 of our Tea Estates in Dooars and Assam subject to the following terms and conditions.

1.	Rate quoted should be on per kg. Basis and must include cost of second hand Gunny Bags to be supplied by individual estate. Freight from the estate upto the destination will be on Buyer’s A/c.
2.	Payment should be made in advance against Pro-forma Invoice (to be raised on the quantity available as indicated by the Estate) by A/c. Payee Demand Draft or local A/c. Payee Cheque and only on realisation of the same, Delivery Orders will be issued.
3.	Buyers, of denatured Tea Waste have to pay extra, over and above the rate quoted, towards cost of Lime and Labour for mixing, before denaturing at the individual estate.
4.	WBST/CST will be charged extra, over and above the rate quoted. In case the intending tenderer wishes to submit Sales Tax Declaration Form against purchase of Tea Waste, the same must be indicated in the quotation.
5.	Despatch documents will be submitted to the Buyer once we receive these from the estate.
6.	Final Bill will be raised once all the despatches are complete; (Buyer wishing to avail concessional Sales Tax will be required to submit the Sales Tax Declaration Form on the basis of final Bills only).
7.	Intending Tenderers, buying Tea Waste for their 100% EOU to manufacture Instant Tea must also submit a declaration confirming that AR-3A Forms duly endorsed by the local Central Excise Authorities of the factory will be submitted/sent to our office within 30 days from the date of despatch of the materials.

Your offer should be sent to the Chief Executive (Tea Division) in a seated cover marking the same with “Tender for Purchase of undenatured Tea waste” positively by 15.10.2008 within 4 PM.

Date of opening the Tender: 20.10.2008
Once the contract is awarded to the highest bidder an earnest money of Rs.50, 000/-(rupees fifty thousand only) must be submitted immediately. The Tea Waste has to be lifted latest by 15th of November’2008 failing which the company will charge 0.50p. per kg. per month extra as penalty on you.
